Art was always something Rita, his wife, was involved in.
And while photography had been a life-long interest, Steve
had never viewed it as an art medium for himself… until he
converted to the digital 35mm format to create archival
quality prints of Rita’s artwork ( www.rlohr.com). Through
the discovery process of learning how to manage a digital
workflow, Steve began to apply what he was learning to his
own images. The results speak for themselves. Artistic
images that achieve a painterly style by blending color
with B&W.
The images are printed using the Epson K3 pigmented ink set
on Museo fine art papers or gallery canvas. Each print is
signed and numbered by Steve.
Rita and Steve reside in Olathe, Kansas, and exhibit
through-out the Midwest.
